Credit Notes

Credit Notes

Overview

The Credit Notes page allows you to create and manage credit notes for returned goods or services. This feature is used to process returns, issue refunds, and update customer accounts. Accountants, bookkeepers, and finance staff use this page to manage credit notes.

A credit note serves as a document sent by a seller to a customer, notifying them that a credit has been made to their account against returned goods or services. This document can be used to offset against future purchases.

Navigation Path

To access the Credit Notes page, navigate to the sales dashboard and click on the Credit Notes section. From there, you can create a new credit note by clicking the Create Credit Note button.

When creating a credit note, you can choose to update stock levels by selecting the Update Stock checkbox. This will update the stock levels for the returned products.
